The Big Summer Braai, Rugby and Jive. SA vs Scotland. Venue: Almondsbury Creative. 10 Gloucester Rd, Almondsbury, Bristol BS32 4AA Date: Sat 11 July 2026 Time: 1pm Join us for a lekker Summer braai and then in enjoying the rugby and a jive. There’s a lovely big grass field next to the pub where we’ll all have a braai from 1pm and then we’ll head into the pub to support SA vs Scotland. Then stay to watch the football match at 10pm: England vs Norway. There’ll be a top singer performing for us in the pub to keep us jiving into the night. Bring your own braai meat, tongs, deck chairs etc. (Don’t worry if you aren’t able to bring your own braai as we’ll bring a few with space for others too). For those who don’t want to braai, pub grub will also be available from Almondsbury Creative. If there’s a bit of rain, please bring your gazebos as rain won’t cancel this event. Please bring a bag of charcoal with you to keep the braais going 🙏. Thank you For allowing us to use their grounds, please support the pub and buy your drinks from them. We kindly request that you don’t bring your own drinks onto the premises. Thanks Milk tarts and peppermint crisp tarts will be on sale. Cash and card accepted. Anton will be selling lekker fresh boerewors at the event too. Cash and card accepted. Von Falkenhausen’s biltong will also be on sale selling delicious droewors and biltong. Even your favourite Saffa snacks will be sold at the pub counter🇿🇦😋 Come meet some fellow Saffas and make some friends. Kids and dogs are welcome.
