Springboks vs Scotland - Bring & Braai

Please come and join us for the Springboks vs Scotland game on the 11th July. Kick off is at 16:40pm. So bring your meat and salads and cook on one of our communal braai’s before the game starts 👍 The Magnet is the located opposite Morrison’s and McDonald’s on Dewsbury Road. There’s ample parking at Morrison’s so simply cross the road to The Magnet. Claire and Andy, the owners of The Magnet, have kindly given us their pub for free. They’re not charging us to use their venue so all we ask is that you support their bar which is very reasonable. 👍 There’s a large outdoor area with plenty of benches but I’d recommend bringing some camping chairs just in case they’re all taken. We’ll have five communal braai’s so donations of charcoal and fire lighters would be greatly appreciated to keep the fires going. 👍 The nearest train station is Wakefield Westgate and The Magnet is a short 15-minute walk or a couple of minutes in a taxi. Since we’re in Wakefield centre your taxi should cost no more than a fiver. 😊 SA Delicacies will be selling all your favourite Saffa goodies.
